FAQs

Find answers to the most common questions about our programs, enrollment, and daily operations.

How much does tuition cost?
Tuition varies depending on your child’s age, program, and schedule. The good news is that Ahava is all-inclusive, so many of the things families normally have to pack or pay extra for are already covered. Contact us for current tuition rates and availability for your child.
Child care assistance and payment options may vary by location and family eligibility. Give us a call or reach out to your preferred Ahava location, and our team can help you understand the options available to your family.
Getting started is easy. We recommend scheduling a tour so you can see the center, meet our team, visit the classrooms, and ask any questions you may have. From there, we’ll walk you through availability, enrollment paperwork, and everything you need to get your child ready for their first day.

Ahava is open Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 6:00pm, making it easier for families to find care that works with their weekday schedules. We recommend confirming hours with your preferred location when you enroll.

We care for children from their earliest months through kindergarten, with dedicated programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners. Each program is designed around what children need at that particular stage, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Quite a lot! Our all-inclusive care is designed to make life a little easier for families. Meals and snacks, daily learning materials, enrichment activities, diapers, wipes, and bedding laundry are included. For families with infants, that means you can usually arrive with just bottles and a change of clothes instead of packing everything your baby might need for the day.
We prepare fresh, balanced meals and snacks with growing children in mind. Our menus focus on whole foods and include plenty of fruits, vegetables, and other kid-friendly options. We avoid GMOs, artificial dyes, high-fructose corn syrup, peanuts, and tree nuts, and we can work with families on individual dietary needs.
That’s something we care deeply about. Ahava intentionally staffs above state requirements, with an additional teacher in every classroom and even more support in our young infant rooms. Smaller groups give teachers more opportunities to really know each child, respond to their needs, and help them feel safe, comfortable, and confident.
Learning here looks a lot like being a kid! Children learn through play, movement, creativity, conversation, exploration, and hands-on experiences. Our curriculum supports early literacy, math, science, problem-solving, physical development, and social-emotional skills while giving children room to learn and grow at their own pace.
It starts with the meaning behind our name: Ahava means love. We want children to feel genuinely known, cared for, and excited to come to school each day. That means smaller groups, caring teachers, wholesome food, engaging learning experiences, and an all-inclusive approach that makes things easier for parents, too. It’s child care designed around the whole child, and the whole family.
Yes! For Kids’ Sake cares for children from 6 weeks through 12 years, so families can stay with us well beyond the preschool years. Our school-age program includes after-school care, pick-up from nearby schools, homework support, enrichment activities, and plenty of time to relax and play after a busy school day.
For Kids’ Sake has been caring for children and families in the Boardman area for more than 20 years. We’re proud to be part of the community and to provide a familiar, welcoming place where children can learn, grow, and feel at home—from their earliest months through their school-age years.
